Frequently asked questions

Are men allowed to participate in physical therapy sessions?
All individual physical therapy and rowing coaching sessions are open to all genders. While based at a women’s rowing club, my practice is fully inclusive and welcomes anyone seeking individualized physical therapy, rowing coaching, or strength and mobility training.

Do you work with non-rowers?
Absolutely. I specialize in rowing, but I work with athletes and active individuals of all backgrounds.

Are these sessions only for people in pain?
Not at all. Many clients come proactively to improve movement mechanics, build strength, increase mobility, and prevent future injuries. Sessions are equally effective for performance, longevity, and staying ahead of issues before they start.

Where do in-person sessions take place?
Sessions are held in the upstairs erg room and office space at the ZLAC Boathouse.

What are your hours?
Appointments are available on Wednesdays between 9:00am and 3:30pm and most Saturdays between 8:00am and 3:30pm.

How long are sessions?
All individual sessions are 60 minutes. Women’s small group classes are 50 mins.

What forms of payment do you accept?
Payment is due at the time of service. Zelle, Venmo, cash, and checks are accepted.

Do you take insurance?
I am an out-of-network provider. Superbills are available upon request so you can submit for reimbursement through your insurance, HSA, or FSA.

How do I book an appointment?
Appointments are booked directly through the “Book With Me” tab at the top right of the webpage.

What should I wear or bring?
Wear comfortable athletic clothing you can move in. For rowing-specific sessions, bring your rowing shoes if you prefer.

Do you offer remote sessions?
Yes. Remote sessions are conducted via Zoom. You’ll need a device with a camera, reliable WiFi, and a small amount of open floor space. A yoga mat, light weights, or resistance bands can be helpful but aren’t required. For rowing assessments, access to an ergometer is necessary.
